I was invited by Oklahoma Joe’s to preview their menu for their grand opening at One Daytona. All opinions are my own.
Earlier this week, I headed over to Ace Cafe for a taste of BBQ. Oklahoma based BBQ joint, Oklahoma Joe’s was hosting a preview of their menu before their grand opening at One Daytona in Daytona Beach today.
The first Oklahoma Joe’s restaurant opened in 1995 in…you guessed it, Oklahoma by BBQ pit master, Joe Davidson. He has won over 300 BBQ championships worldwide, so you know his BBQ HAS to be good. Oklahoma Joe’s has been selected as “Best Ribs in America” by USA Today and Wolfgang Puck says it’s “the best BBQ I’ve ever eaten”.

The One Daytona location of Oklahoma Joe’s is the first in central Florida. The menu features a variety of smoked meats, including the BEST burnt ends you will ever try, slow smoked ribs, baked beans, potato salad and more. There is also a full liquor bar area. During the tasting at Ace Cafe, I enjoyed their ribs, brisket, burnt ends, baked beans, potato salad and spicy coleslaw. The burnt ends were hands-down the best thing I have tasted in a long time. It was like eating candy…but it was meat. Just go try it!
Oklahoma Joe’s is located at 1866 Victory Circle Daytona Beach, FL 32114. They are open Monday to Thursday from 11 AM to 10 PM, Friday and Saturday from 11 AM
to 11 PM, and Sunday from 11 AM to 9 PM.
