*Disclosure: As an ambassador for Pink Off Park I have received two complimentary passports for the event. As always, all thoughts and opinions are 100% my own.
Cancer affects EVERYONE in one way or another. I would know. I am currently battling uterine cancer. Each year, many women are diagnosed with breast cancer, and really, there will never be enough research devoted to women’s cancer. In support of research and finding a cure for breast cancer, the Orlando Sentinel Media Group has organized Pink off Park (formerly Pink Bash). This annual event happens every October, this year on Park Avenue in Winter Park, Florida.
Walk the pink carpet and enjoy a fashion show with models who have survived breast cancer (how awesome!), live music, silent auction and more! And don’t worry. You won’t go hungry at this event. There will be an option to purchase a passport to sample food and drinks from area restaurants and 100% of the proceeds from the passports goes to breast cancer research for the Breast Cancer Care Fund at Florida Hospital Foundation. This is a total win-win! To save $5 on your Passport in advance, enter code PINK when checking out at orlandosentinel.com/pinkoffpark.
In addition, there will be the Florida Hospital Women’s Mobile Wellness and FRi-diagnostic mobile on site to offer mammograms. You can schedule your mammogram in advance by calling 407-543-4399. Can’t make it to the event but still need your yearly mammogram? Florida Hospital is offering $30 mammograms for the month of October at 13 different central Florida locations. Learn more at Pink Out.
Pink off Park is completely free to attend, but the passports for food and drink have different price points. A Standard Passport is $20 in advance and $30 at the door. This includes 6 light bites/drink samples and a souvenir bag. The VIP Passport is $30 in advance and $45 at the door. This includes 10 light bites/drink samples, souvenir bag and access to the comfy VIP lounge area.
The event takes place from 5 to 9pm at the West Meadow of Central Park, Winter Park. The address is 150 W. Morse Blvd. Winter Park, FL 32789
