Hello! If you’re new here, welcome! I’m Candace, a former food/desserts blogger, now expanding into the lifestyle and travel blogging realm.
When I started blogging, I never thought I would write about anything but food and restaurant reviews. That all changed when I was diagnosed with diabetes at a recent doctor’s appointment. Of all the thoughts swirling through my head after my appointment, one that stuck with me long after was “What about the blog I spent 2 years building and growing?” I immediately decided that I would have to create an entire new blog because my food blog was focused on indulgent desserts and decadent recipes. As a diabetic, I could no longer create the same recipes my readers wanted. I would have to come up with healthier versions, but because of my blog’s name, healthier recipes just wouldn’t fit.
Life isn’t always fluffy bunnies and sparkles, and I plan on being completely authentic on here. My goal with this blog is to curate posts that showcase peeks of my life, travel diaries (I can get serious cases of wanderlust!), healthy recipes and product reviews from time to time.
